The new tax year is already upon us so what better time to introduce our new blog. We don’t want it to be any old boring blog so feel free to suggest any ideas you would like to hear about
The madness of January seems only a couple of sleeps ago but can you believe we’re already in the new 2015/2016 tax year? We’ve received lots of questions over the last couple of weeks with people getting themselves organised and this is great to see… As with all New Year’s Resolutions – let’s see how long they last.
We never imagined we’d venture into the world of blogging – who would have thought you’d all be so interested in accountancy and tax?! We have been proven wrong though and you’ve been crying out for information, advice and little insights into what our team are up to. Demand has taken over and here we are; new tax year, new Theataccounts blog.
We’re here for you, so feel free to suggest blog topics. What do you want to know about? Do you want it to be all about tax, about the brilliant team here at Theataccounts, about what Alex gets up to at the weekend or a mixture of everything? Please send us your suggestions, anything goes.
We’ve got a few key areas that we will discuss over the next few blogs and these will be the common topics that we talk about most with our clients;
- what costs can I include?
- what do I do about national insurance?
- how much of my rent can I include?
- my mate doesn’t pay tax with his accountant…
Hopefully the above will be of help but once these have been blogged about along with a few others we feel are relevant, we need your suggestions. Please do not be afraid to offer your ideas and we will blog about it, as long as it doesn’t give too much away to the competition 😉
Talking of competitions, we’re still continuing our crazy giveaways on Twitter by giving away a free tax return to one lucky person. The last lucky winner was James Charlton, we completed his tax return for him for the total cost of £0.00. The latest competition has reached it’s retweet requirements and the winner will be drawn over the next few days. Follow us on Twitter so you don’t miss out. We’re also keen to up the ante on this and not just be about retweets – any suggestions are welcome!
Finally, if you do follow us on Twitter, you’ll have seen that Alex enjoyed himself at Disney on Ice recently. He didn’t go on his own this though, his wife was with him… and their young daughter.
Don’t forget, we’re here to help so don’t be afraid to ask us any questions.
Have a great week.
